In StringGrid, can it connect database and show data? I see some program, it has a grid and connect to database, each record has a arrow on the left handside, how to do it? is it the function of grid? I mean it likes access, it contain a arrow to focus on the record thx

This should be a TDBGrid.

Is TDBGrid can display a combox or a button like that "..." and that click "..." than, another form will be shown, like micorsoft. Hope u can undertand what I say thx so much

Btw, if I want to show a form that will display the data in the textbox, so we need to use TDBEdit or TEdit? On the other hands, if I want to do an application that is related to DB, so, I need to use all control by Data Controls, such as Grid, Label, Edit right?

1. Look for TDBGrid.OnEditButtonClick 2. Data-aware controls are just some kind of handy tools, you can always use non-data aware controls and do all the necessary queries yourself.
