TDBGridPro is an original database control, includes the following features:
- Open Architicture is unlimited source of making the component more powerful;
- 9 inplace editors are already available for everyday usage, supporting text, date, lookup,
MEMO and custom data fields;
- powerful and customizable Designers (object responsible for drawing grid's background
and
its style):
- Lite Designer (about 10 properties) - "classic" style and extremely fast output.
- Standard Designer (more than 35 properties) - makes your applications look really fancy
without getting them slower.
- You are able to develop custom plugins, such as Designers and Visios.
- column's hiding, saving column's information to external file;
- saving grid's visual options to external file;
- multi level column grouping;
- increases data readability,
- economizes space usage (it is always necessary) allows to avoid horizontal
scrolling,
- thematic data grouping concentrates user attention on the needful information.
- multiple event handlers;
- Before/AfterInsert, Before/AfterEdit, Before/AfterPost, AfterCancel, OnPostError event
handlers provide you full control on data adding and editing, validating field values.
- These events are also implemented in every grid's column. So, TDBGridPro.BeforePost
event posts the whole record while column's BeforePost event disables data posting and
leaves
data field editor opened.
- handling of mouse clicks on titles is supported. TDBGridPro also supports function of data
sorting by clicking on fields title.
- fast data output, optimizable grid's work. We have maximally improved grid's and its
