THalExpression is a set of VCL Components for Delphi designed as a formula evaluator. It
supports expressions defined under xBase, Pascal, Basic or Java syntax. This package gives
you the opportunity to create software completely configurable in details like filters (remember
xbase's macros) or searches. THalExpression is based on "variant" type, for this reason it
accepts strings, integers, floats, booleans and dates. It can operate using "user defined
functions" and/or variables. It supports datasets, aliases and field references. More than 75
functions are predefined. Its possible to define additional functions (UDF). For this reason
THalMacroExpression can to use simple hashing-list or events than request identifiers. This has
great potentials. It also counts with multidimensional arrays. Documentation available in English
and Spanish.
