This component allows you to create RTF files. Over 80% of RTF formatting are controlled with properties. Text is added with either a WriteLine, WriteLine with carriage return or WriteGroup. Tabs and group functions are controlled by methods. For the other 600 RTF formatting controls, you can embed the RTF command directly into your text. Rich-text format (RTF) files have text information, with embedded RTF commands, to turn various formatting features on and off. Many word processors such as Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, etc,.can read and write these file formats as a method to transfer data between them. As word processors became more powerful, more RTF commands were added. As a result there are some RTF commands that are not read by other word processors. This component is based on Microsoft RTF version 1.3, Jan 94.
