if all clients need to access middle server across Internet,how to assure the data security on both terminate?of course we can use MIDAS interception to encrypt data when they go in or out of client and middle.eg,we can employee standard DES,T-DES or RSA to do this work,but they all need to hardcode password in both client and middle app.is there a good way only save password in middle but can be used in both client and middle? If I were you, I won't bother with security so much. I would select either: 1) use web connection over SSL (i.e. using https) 2) use socket connection over VPN Certificates can also be used in both cases. And perhaps try to encrypt those sensitive info in some fast and simple methods instead of using clear text; don't relay solely on the SSL/VPN. 發表人 - william 於 2003/12/09 11:05:05

I tried using web connection,but test failed due to unknown problem. when I set TwebConnection's Connected property to true,the machine did not reply for a long time and finally died down.I can not find out the reason.I use D7 and place Httpsrvr.dll in scripts directory of innetpub.is there other confuration need to be concerned???
