First of All , Big Thx to this Great Forum (Very useful & helpful) even that i don't understand (Tw language) .
I start to explain my problem & wich to find good help here , im using Delphi7 & start work for Online Software that need to remote it with Database .
For exemple if this software will be executed from other place (not local network) & i need to authorize by (login & password) or to enable (ON/OFF) access, online mode for this software from
Db remote ! if possible to get small exemple that can show me some help & Thank you very much

What kind of Database do you use? MySQL,MS-SQL,Informix.....?
To remote database that are not a local network, I usually use ADO/ODBC to control it
For example,the connection I will set

Driver={IBM INFORMIX ODBC DRIVER};Host=xxx.xx.xx.xxx;Server=xxx;Service=xxx;Protocol=onsoctcp;Database=xxx;Uid=xxx;Pwd=xxx;Client_Locale=zh_tw.big5;DB_Locale=zh_tw.big5

or

If you can connect database by ODBC you can easily connect it by Database component

So you can remote database by IP
