I often see people complaining about Firemonkey here and how useless it is to develop mobile apps, so I would like to show the mobile app that we are finishing, it is a client from our surveillance system and it runs on Android and iOS.

We got a very good performance out of Firemonkey.

They have exactly the same source code, no specific code to adapt to each platform. The ONLY thing that we used that was not shipped with Delphi was the library from Cris Rolliston to save settings on both platforms, other than that, we only used code that was available on Delphi, no third party libraries...

And to be honest, that is why we have chosen Delphi to develop our new mobile client, because we could use the same source for both platforms, and of course, because we were already used to Delphi
